IRAN

The eastern gateway of centers of learning and ancient Islamic civilization.

Iran is a unique geography enriched with the deepest traces of Islamic history, home to great Islamic scholars, the paths of the companions, and ancient Islamic cities. Tabriz is a historic gateway where Turkish-Islamic culture intersects; it is a rich center of learning with its mosques, bazaars, and madrasas.

Isfahan, known as "half the world," is one of the brightest cities of Islamic art with its architecture, madrasas, and magnificent mosques.

Mashhad carries the learning-scented atmosphere of the Khorasan climate; for centuries it has been a waypoint for seekers of hadith, jurisprudence, and Sufism.

Shiraz is the homeland of great scholars and poets like Hafiz and Saadi, making it the center of eloquence and art.

Qom remains a vibrant center of learning today, known for its teachings in Quranic exegesis, jurisprudence, and hadith.

Tehran is the capital where deep culture, museums, and historical monuments bring together modern and traditional Iran.

Ahvaz – Khuzestan region illuminates the history of prophets with the shrine of Prophet Daniel (peace be upon him).

Wandering through Iran's cities means feeling the breath of the Khorasan saints, the spirit of justice of the Seljuks, the love for the Ahl al-Bayt, and centuries of accumulated Islamic knowledge.

For those seeking civilization and culture, Iran is one of the richest and most peaceful destinations in the Islamic world.
